Teacher explanation

For family, use short presentation chunks first: “Čia mano mama.”, “Čia mano tėtis.” For “I have...”, learn the whole phrase as one unit: “Turiu brolį.”, “Turiu sesę.”

For age, do not translate word by word from English. Learn one full answer: “Man dvidešimt metų.”

Three useful family frames

Use “Čia mano...” to show who someone is, “Turiu...” to say you have a family member, and “Man ... metų” to say your age.
